Clark et Chloe découvrent que Tobias, un jeune homme aveugle depuis la pluie de météorite et qui a la capacité d'identifier les "monstres des météorites", est utilisé par Lex pour détecter les gens possédant des pouvoirs et que Lex utilise comme cobaye d'expériences. Lana découvre également le don de Tobias. Effrayée à l'idée qu'il nomme Clark comme infecté, elle met en place une transplantation de cornée en échange de son silence. Cependant, elle n'est pas préparée aux révélations de Tobias.
